MOVE FORWARD WITH FEEDBACK

the DETAILS

In-person | Online | Hybrid

According to PwC, 60% of employees would like to receive feedback daily or weekly, and that percentage rises to 72% for employees under the age of 30. Why, then, do we talk about performance assessment and feedback as something we dread? The simple answer is because giving feedback is often a last resort instead of a first step. And when feedback is finally provided, it’s not always given effectively or received well. Yet, feedback is critical to collaborative working relationships. We need to align our expectations and processes to work effectively with others, and we need to gain valuable perspective from others to grow professionally. This session will provide frameworks for giving timely feedback relevant to different workplace situations and will explore ways of reducing defensiveness when receiving critical feedback.
