This session will empower you to broach delicate subjects and ask uncomfortable questions without beating around the bush or working against yourself.

  • • Explore the six elements of executive presence and how they relate to difficult conversations.

    • Raise awareness of communication behaviors that impede your success, including overusing qualifying language, speaking indirectly, and upspeak.

    • Understand how to simultaneously speak firmly and compassionately so that you can make purposeful decisions about how to navigate difficult conversations with authenticity and peace of mind both inside the office and beyond it.
